To the Gym

Another first today .... a visit to the two gyms on this floor. Robert was directed through some upper body stuff, as well as some exercises to strengthen his right leg. The physio worked him pretty hard today, and he was up in the chair for close to an hour. He's putting out a great effort, working through a good deal of pain and discomfort, but I think he's making amazing progress. I'm so thankful to God for the changes, even in the last few days, including the fact that he had his best night of sleep so far last night, and he's eating more. Yeh, God.
So be encouraged, all you faithful prayers, and keep on praying for that complete healing to be worked out in Robert's body, as well as for continued courage and inner strength.
Chris

Hi Robert and family, I continue to check in on your recovery, and that is exaclty what it is, recovery. You are getting better. Don't be discouraged that it is slow. The fact is we all admire you for all you have had to go through and how hard you are fighting. Keep on fighting soldier! So many people are speaking life and healing over your body. That is what is constantly being laid at the foot of the Father, who is the greatest doctor. I praise him for you progress to a wheel chair and I know I will soon praise him for your next accomplishment!! Love, Laura from DTS YWAM Perth (the originals)

We are home now. You are continually in our thoughts and prayers along with the rest of you Lavignes. It is amazing how fast you are progressing even with the considerable pain you experience as you bring your body back to health. Lord, heal those nerves that are damaged and stengthen and heal those bones and muscles in the pelvis and legs. Cover Robert and his family and shield them from the enemy. Speak encouragement to their spirits and hearts. AMEN Larry K
