Thursday

Not too much to report on today. Robert had another bad bout of pain last night, but got through it, and slept a little more than he has in the past. Today is a quiet day with not much going on so far; however, we are looking forward to a visit from Darcy and Kerstin who should be here sometime this afternoon.
Thanks, dear friends, for your continued prayers which I know are going up night and day.
Chris

It's great to hear that the foot is going to be healing faster than expected. I am continuing to pray for you Robert. You are a good friend and a solid man of God. Hope you get some good rest this next week.

Hey Robert! How goes Vancouver for ya? Hope everyone is treating you swell. The nurses up here are still asking about how you are. :) So guess what... I'm taking the good ol' greyhound down to Abbotsford in a week...ohh Im sure lookin forward to those good times. Just hoping my head stays on! From the sounds of things, I need to bring a Gigantisized bag, in order to fit all the parcels for you. ;) Anyways, can't wait to see ya. Always praying..and my parents are too.

Chris,
Just read your comment about the hotel. Don't know if you're interested or not but most major hospitals have homes near them for the family of patients to stay. I know the Mennonites run one near the UofA - my aunt stayed there in May. The hospital's social worker would know, I think, or maybe the nursing staff.
Thinking of you often. I know how a Mom's heart aches for her son. Still praying.

Hello Robert,
I know you probably don't feel strong right now but I am truly in awe of your strength. I was miserably upset that I missed you in Edmonton. I was at my mom and dad's getting ready to come see you when Chris phoned to say you had been moved. Crap!
Please know that Chris and I are in constant prayer.
I had orange juice yesterday - I am sorry you weren't there for the opening of the can!!!
Thank you Chris for your updates. You, Tom and Jen are constantly in our prayers as well. Bless you all.
