Hey sorry for not posting for a few days, thought I'd wait till I had all my appointments and just put up all the information at once. Well on Wednesday I was able to go outside on a real recumberant bike. I went for about a 20 minute ride which was very enjoyable. Since I have to have supervision I have an appointment to go for another ride on Monday if the weather is nice. Yesterday I was woken up at 7 to be told there was an opening for an EMG test that I was scheduled to have next week. So I hopped out of bed and rushed down to the clinic in about 5 minutes. The test involves sticking a needle into a muscle and test to see if there is nerve signals going to it. There was both good and bad results, which do you want first? I'll go with the good. My weak left quad showed that it should continue to improve. However with my right foot (the one with foot drop) they were unable to get any nerve signals going to it which means that it recovering doesn't look to promising. They did say that it is still early and that it may recover, but it's not that probable. Today I went for to see my spinal doctor. I had x-rays taken again and after looking at them he was unable to find anything on them that would be causing me the pain. He said he wants to see me again before I go home and if the pain is still present I will have to get a cat scan to see if they can find the problem that way. So basically I will just continue on with what I'm doing. Well this weekend Amy is coming to visit me, so that will be fun, and then on Monday mom is back. And thats my news for the last few days.

Hi Robert! Thanks for the news. So that ride on a real bike were you pain free on that one as well? Sure hope so. We finally got all the outdoor furniture and stuff brought back in today. I thought of you when I was bringing the table and chairs in and thought of how you worked so hard at getting them together. Well I'd better go it's getting late and I have to e-mail Colin as well. Lots of love and prayers, Ron and Debbie.
Hi Robert; I just had such a nice picture of you on the bike. (Some of that was because we have snow here and the bikes are long since put away, but a lot of it was how nice it must have been for you to be on the road again.) We continue to trust in the Lord for your complete healing, and so we continue to pray. Be blessed, and enjoy the fall weather. With love, Shelene and gang
Hey Robert, it was good to hear more of how you are doing. It's awesome and exciting to hear that you were able to ride a bike outside. I just pictured how happy and excited you must have been being able to do something you love so much. It made me excited and happy for you. I will continue to pray for your foot healing, as well as feeling to come back in your nerves. Take care. God bless.
PS-It was good to see your parents up hear, and hopefully get to see you soon. Michael Gilmore
Glad to hear that you're able to get out and around a little more. When you get discouraged, like you're probably feeling now with the "bad" news about your foot, just look back and see how far you've come... and in such a short time! You've got so many people praying for you and thinking of you. I have confidence that "He who began a good work in you" will finish it out in the best way that He has for you. Larita
