There were no changes in Robert's physical status today. However, he is discouraged, frustated, and full of questions as to what his future is going to be like. It broke my heart to see him so discouraged, yet his frustration is so totally understandable. I'm sure none of us can even begin to imagine what he is going through. And I do believe the hardest part right now is not knowing what he'll be able to do in the future. As he waits for the complete healing we are all praying and trusting for, pray for protection from ongoing discouragement. He is trying so hard to remain upbeat, but sometimes, its all just too much, and only God has the ability to truly comfort him.
As for me, a hard day for Robert is a hard day for me. So pray for extra strength for me, especially as I am now flying solo. It was a blessing to have Amy here for the morning; thanks, Amy for being here and for your encouragement.
Looking forward to a brighter day tomorrow, and thanking you again for all your prayers,
Chris

Chris,
We feel the frustration that you are going through, and we pray that God will show you His loving grace and give you a peace to know He is in control. We had a BBQ tonight and it just wasn't the same without Robert's presence. We will continue to keep Robert in our prayers especially for this bout of discouragement he is being overwelmed with.We will pray for wisdom for yourself as he seeks answers to questions about the future. I pray for a good nights sleep for Robert and yourself and renewed strenghth in the morning. May Tom, Jen and Wade also have a restful sleep. Blessings upon all of you. The Cassidy's
I'm continuing to pray for all of you. It is a long road ahead, and there are days that are discouraging, days that are joyful and everything inbetween. Your honesty is so good. Jesus can come to where you are when you know and admit where that is. May He meet you in the room called discouragement and bring his courage.
Chris and Robert,
Our hearts are with you. It is such a frustrating time to be at the mercy of the caregivers who can't really give you the answers you want at this time. May God's peace wash over you both, drowning out the noise of doubt and confusion. May the long days become a time of rest and renewal rather than a torture. We are so glad that you are so strong. We will continue to pray for you (of course) as you grow stronger. What a light you must be to those around you God bless you both. Most times hospital staff never get to see Gods love in action. Please call us if there is anything we can do...really! Love to you all, the H Peterson's
Robert we are sadly unable to stop by on our way through, but we will keep praying for you. And don't worry about what will happen next, God will work it out.
