A peace that passes understanding

Today is - Lord willing - the big day. Mom and I are heading the the hospital soon so we can be sure to be around whenever it is that they finally take Robert in for surgery. We asked him yesterday if he was scared at all and he just kinda shrugged and said, "Well, it's gotta happen!" and wiggled his eyebrows - what a trooper.

As a family, we are moment by moment experiencing the miracle of a peace that we cannot fathom. We are spending our time being grateful for Robert and all the care he is recieving and feel held-close and strengthed by your prayers.

Our requests remain the same and we know you are all lifting Robert up to the throne of our Healer King in constant prayer. We will keep you posted when we know how everything went.

Hey Rob

I just found out about your little incident at work, or maybe not so little. A railcar? Not sure if I know what that is, but I guess I could find out. You have to let me know how this one went down when you get out of hospital.

I will be praying for you my friend! The world just can't afford you not being up and going! :) Get well so I can come visit you one day in Canada when I get out of the army. You should so be norwegian by the way and join the army a year. You would love it at times...haha

Anyways, hang in there. I'm sure God will heal you one way or the other. Through surgery or not.

Love yoy and miss you man!

Hey Mate!

I just heard and my eyes went boink (as you can imagine that's pretty hard for my small Asian eyes) when I saw the word 'railcar'!! Hope you're doing good and I'm praying for ya, man.

I'm back in Malaysia for a bit of holidays at the moment and am enjoying every bit of it. Going back to Perth next weekend.

Alright. Take care buddy! Love ya heaps ...

Hi Tom, Chris, and family,
We just got home and were shocked to hear about Robert's accident. We know that God knit Robert together perfectly once, and He can do it again. We are thankful that you have a huge extended family to cover you during this difficult time. Please know that our bible study group will be on their knees today for Robert's surgery and will continue to hold you up as he recovers.
Much love and prayers,
Debbie, Ron and Bria Byman
