The results

Well the spinal tap went well. It was a fairly easy process. They found out that I ad over double the pressure compared to a normal persons spinal fluid. The doctor drained around 22cc which is the quick fix, since a normal person produce cerebral spinal fluid at a rate of .7cc/minute and I'm making it at who knows how fast. Then they have started me in some more medication to slow down the production. Now the fluid will be tested to see if there is any problems with it. The docotr is unsure of what the cause is as the doesn't often occur spontaneously in males of my body type. He thinks that the cause may be due to..... you guessed it, my drugs. so we've come full circle back to tapering mt drugs down. so hopefully this in conjunction with the new medication will allow me to start seeing some results in the next weeks(the doc said it wouldn't clear up instantly as my eyes have had some swelling in them). I will have to be going back in for another spinal tap next week to see how things ae going and probably for a few more in the future. But I feel a lot better now that it seems some progress is being made.

Hi Robert and family! What a relief that must have been to find out there was no tumor. Has the draining of the fluid helped take away some of the pain? I sure hope so. I can't believe all that you're going thru! I wish we could just take all your pain away but we can't only God can so we'll continue to pray. Love and prayers to all of you! Ron & Debbie.

Hi Robert..I am praising GOD with you and everyone else for the positive results of your scan and spinal test. I am also curious whether your pain level has decreased at all and if so in what way(s)? Thanks for keeping us up to date. It is an encouragement to hear the presence of GOD in you throughout this 'strange' adventure. I await the day you will be well enough to attend church. Prayerfully. Thanks for the update. We always thought a spinal tap was a painful thing, but to you it is not so bad relative to the pain you are used to....correct? God bless you as you persevere. Mike & N.

Hey, Robert, we're still praying with you and believing God for your healing. I had a spinal tap my first year of teaching when I got some nasty contagious virus from the kids, but apparently I was delirious at the time and barely remember it. Probably a good thing! You are a persevering person of personality; keep at it. God is with you all the way, and we are praying all the way. Take care. Love Shelene and gang
