quick update

Hey jut thought I'd let you know the latest in the eye story. I went to the doctor today and he saw some inflammation in the back of my eyes so he refereed me to an ophthalmologist. He found that my blurred vision is caused not by my drugs but from ppressure in the back of my eyes and on the optic nerve. He sent me over to another doctor who told me that there are two possible causes of this. Either a tumor or excessive spinal fluid pressure. He is leaning towards the spinal fluid pressure as I show no other symptoms of a tumor. So tomorrow I will be going in fo a CT scan, and depending in the results of that I may need to get a spinal tap to measure the pressure of the spinal cord fluid.

Spinal taps now? Wow... what could be next? I'm glad they're figuring it out, though, and I guess this mean you can have some nice pain meds again.

Hey, when are you coming back to Vancouver again?

I think I've heard of the name Spinal Tap as a rock group. You know we, as Christians are all members of a "rock" group. Christ is our rock and he knows exactly what is going on. I pray that the Dr's will have open minds to hear Jesus' thoughts on this and that Robert will continue to rest in Jesus' strength and peace. Larry

I can't believe all you've had to go thru and how God is helping you go thru it with such a great attitude. You may be poor in health but Robert you're a very rich guy in spirit.

Jesus, we continually come to you. We continue to knock. We continue to believe. We contine to pray. You are Robert's rock, his rock of salvation in body, soul and spirit. Jesus, we believe you give strength in weakness, hope in desperation, water in a dry and thirsty land. Blessed be your name. Minister to your beloved Robert and his family today. Give wisdom in abundance, according to your Word, to all involved in his care. We pray in faith, believing and trusting that you are the capable God who can do everything he says he can do. We pray, in your name Jesus, Amen.
